At Tradewind, we are consistently seeking dependable and hardworking site staff for our schools across South West London. We work with fantastic secondary schools in Twickenham looking for School Caretakers to join their team on a long-term basis starting this September.

This role is perfect for someone with previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience-ideally within an education or similar setting. You'll be responsible for ensuring the school site remains safe, secure, and well-maintained, supporting both the day-to-day operations and occasional out-of-hours requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing the school site

• General maintenance, repairs, and upkeep

• Ensuring health & safety and compliance checks are carried out

• Liaising with contractors and reporting site issues

• Supporting with furniture moves, deliveries, and occasional cleaning tasks

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a caretaking or site management role

• Basic DIY and maintenance skills

• Good communication and a proactive approach

• Awareness of health & safety and safeguarding in a school environment

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
