Event lasts 3 hrs.

  • The Tale of Heather Ale: Uncover the history of Heather Ale, a legendary brew from Scotland, alongside tales of its mysterious origins and its symbolic significance in Scottish culture.
  • Celtic Connections: Learn about the historical and cultural ties between mead and Scotland. Delve into what has influenced this drink through the ages, from poems and folklore to rebellions and alliances.
  • A Tale of Two Whiskies: Yes, they'll be two whiskies for you to try. Both of them Scottish. I'll say no more about this until the night.
  • Traditional Haggis Supper: Feast on a classic haggis, prepared in the traditional Scottish way, and understand its significance in Scottish culture, complemented by a selection of bard-inspired side dishes. There is a veggie option, please ensure you add on the VEGETARIAN option at the till.
