EMILY SAUNDERS: Twickenham's Very Own Queen of Jazz-Fusion
Dubbed "UK's Queen of Jazz-Fusion", critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer, Emily Saunders, is about to take the stage by storm at The Exchange in Twickenham.
Emily Saunders, who lives in Twickenham, says she is "excited about performing for a local audience" at the Exchange.
"I'm totally looking forward to performing in Twickenham, it has such a creative and artistic atmosphere, and a wonderfully warm and supportive audience," says Emily, a keen champion of the local Twickenham music scene.
Having recently sold out London's most iconic jazz venue, the Jazz Cafe, and Liverpool's state-of-the-art concert hall, the Tung Auditorium, Emily is presenting her most powerful work to date -- her new album, MOON SHIFTS OCEANS, at the Exchange on 7 June.
It's a powerhouse of hits that will keep you hooked from the first track. Her upbeat, soul-infused album blends smoky vocals with jazz-fusion and folk-pop sensuality. No wonder Emily is being hailed by critics as the breakout star for 2025.
Emily's engaging, distinctive vocals, and hands-on production blend pop and soul-jazz with echoes of Brazilian/broken beats. Her voice is rich and magnetic, wrapping around melodies with effortless grace and artistry. Expect catchy songs, infectious grooves, and vibrant rhythms.
"Twickenham has such a long and rich relationship with the arts that sharing my music in such vibrant area moments from home is an absolute pleasure," says Emily, who will be staying on after her show to mingle and thank everyone for their support.
