Four Twickenham community projects awarded funding by Richmond Council

Nine local community projects, including four in Twickenham, have been awarded £304k in the fourth round of Richmond Council's Community Fund.

The Community Fund comes from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), a tax collected by the Council and paid by developers.

OVER 2,000 Richmond upon Thames parents who applied for a secondary school place for their children will have received the outcome of their application yesterday (Monday March 1).

This year, the parents/carers of 2,264 children applied for a place – compared with 2,142 in 2020.

THE West London Adult Sibling Support Group will be launching virtually this month, to help support adults who have siblings with disabilities.

Sibs is a nationwide charity that was set up in 2001 in response to demand from parents and professionals in the children's sector for information on how to support siblings of disabled children.
