LUNAR NEW YEAR PARADE IN TWICKENHAM

FEBRUARY 10th 2024

Join us for this year's Lunar New Year celebrations in Twickenham which include Lion Dance parades, Lion Dance performances and free family activities in Diamond Jubilee Gardens including face-painting and puppet shows.

Timings as follows:

1pm: Lion Dance Parade

Starts at Twickenham Green and moves slowly along Heath Road to Diamond Jubilee Gardens.

2pm – 2:30pm: Lion Dance Performance

Diamond Jubilee Gardens, Twickenham Riverside

2-45pm – 3:30pm: Lion Dance Parade

Along the Riverside past The Barmy Arms, up Flood Lane to the bottom of Church Street, then outside the Civic Centre on York Street).

12:30 – 3:30pm: FREE family activities in Diamond Jubilee Gardens

To include:

– Year of the Dragon themed Puppet Shows – Every half hour, starting at 12:30pm, duration 15 min

– Face-painting with Jo from Face Painting
